Veneziano, Veneziana, Veneziani…

Because the concept of HyFONE was born in Venice, Italy, all HyFONE individual clients who choose to register into the HyFONE community are called Foneziani (R)(Foneziana for a lady, Foneziano for a gentleman and Foneziani for plural).

Since HyFONE is advocating freedom and privacy, it is important to note that belonging to Foneziani groups is entirely optional and free for all HyFONE users. Any information given by HyFONE members remain strictly confidential and will never be sold or exchanged to a third party under any circumstances.

Being a Foneziano or Foneziana brings several benefits such as: free access to HyFONE blogs, database of public wifi hotspots, tips and tricks, realtime knowledge base, HyFONE newsletter and a specific HyFONE email address and access to the open HyFONE forum.

HyFONE Ambassadors

Individuals and company employees who promote and increase effectively the size of the HyFONE community in their country or region are called HyFONE ambassadors.

To become one, you must have significant credentials in both wireless telecom and internet technologies.

HyFONE Ambassadors are always related to a specific geographical area (city or region or country) and to at least one of the five HyFONE support languages (French, Italian, German, Spanish and English).

Since becoming one HyFONE Ambassador may turn out to be a part-time (or even full time) occupation, HyFONE is ensuring an adequate compensation scheme (including access to beta technology in both hardware and software) to successful Ambassadors.

HyFONE Business Club

Membership to the HyFONE Business Club is reserved to all individuals representing a company, a business or an organisation involved into mobile internet telephony based on open industry standards.

These Club members are called Clubbers. Club members include business users and Foneziani representing their organizations, as well as mobile phone manufacturers, hotspot managers, hardware resellers, telecom operators, internet service providers, software houses and consulting partners.

A third category of Club members is made of industry analysts, journalists and members of the media, local government, chambers of commerce, telecom institutes and national /international regulatory boards.

HyFONE Stars

HyFONE Stars are distinguished every six months amongst the HyFONE community of Foneziani, Clubbers and Ambassadors by an international panel of wireless telecom and internet industry leaders.

These men and women may be active in every field (education, government, business, media or technical) or may come from any continent and any country.

The HyFONE Stars gatherings take place in Venice (Italy) in February and September every year.

The February event is coupled with the Venice carnival and the September event with the Venice film festival as part of the Biennale.

Both events are also associated with two international HyFONE Business Club seminars, where HyFONE stars are invited as speakers to share their HyFONE success with other Clubbers.
